Long live the spirit of Madame Pogany, woman, muse, courtesan and as of lately, source of inspiration for both the dreamlike Ludique spring 2013 collection and campaign. If the look book introduced us to each and every single one of the intriguing, provocative and alluring pieces of lingerie, the campaign takes the concept a step further, by placing the bold ensembles straight into a living fantasy.

Delia Tudose embodies pure temptation, captured by the lenses of photographer Vali Barbulescu as the outstanding duo strives in exceeding the extraordinary results that so far define their evolving collaboration. A game of lights and shadows, mystery and sensuality, Ludique’s “Madame Pogany” campaign appears as channeling a distinct sex-appeal, by mirroring the past while looking straight to the future.

The equally ravishing cat eyes and pink lips envisioned by Alexandra Craescu add to the bold fantasy, while the intricate braid created by Nika Karp complements the lingerie by adding a contrasting, fairy-tail like quality to it. A Simple Plan – Following a preview earlier this month, we have a look at the complete campaign for Gucci’s spring 2013 collection. Models Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru and Clément Chabernaud pose in simple studio images photographed by Mert & Marcus, who have shot Gucci’s ready-to-wear campaigns since the spring 2010 season. The new season is all about color and prints as shown by the focus on jewel tones and psychedelic prints.

Kisses and Hugs – Erin Heatherton is the latest top model to front XOXO’s spring-summer 2013 campaign. The American beauty joins the ranks of Christy Turlington (1996), Claudia Schiffer (1998), Alessandra Ambrosio (2006), and Miranda Kerr (2009) as the face of the brand. Photographed in New York City, Erin looks seductive in the label’s flirty and fashionable separates.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 first ads are out and are as sweet as expected. Shot by Steven Meisel and styled by Karl Templer, the scene shows models Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher posing playfully among milkshakes and ice creams.

“The spirit of our Spring 2012 collection is reflected beautifully in this new ad campaign,” says Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs

“All the tone and texture of the collection, the lightness, the prettiness, the broderie anglaise, the millefeuille layers of organza, are recreated in these wonderful images by Steven Meisel. It is all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic.”

Star of the season, the see through Lockit bag that opened the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 show shares the spotlight with the girls.

“The whole ambiance is very pretty, very special and very magical,” says Marc Jacobs, “and I’m sure it will look just delicious and fresh come the spring.”
